I have a number of books I am going to set free. I have been sorting and dusting off the bookshelf and filled a box with books. The next step was to take them somewhere ( so the box is in the back of my car – it has been since friday!). However, I discovered the bookcrossing site and fell in love with the idea of releasing books into the wild and seeing who discovers it! So, if you happen to be in the public loo at the Coastlands mall and you find a book – check inside for a tracking code – it’s bound to be a book I set free!

- hold a British passport but I was born in South Africa. I grew up in Angola, Iran, France and South Africa but now I live in New Zealand. This has made me a bit of a gypsy and I love travel and exotic things. I am also inspired by all the amazing cultures and art of the world. I married my childhood sweetheart, a red head with a bad rep. who is now the sweetest thing since candy floss. We have two precious daughters, two bulldogs (jasmine and poppy) and a pug called Salty. (some chickens and rabbits and goldfish too). I am a bit of a greenie (well I try anyway) and I can be rather nerdy/ecentric/funky depending on which day you get me. Big weakness for chocolate and op shops. Really bad at spelling and I use lots of cliche's. I love God, creative expression, summer rain, winter sun. So far my life has been a roller-coaster ride - great highs and lows - but boy, what an experience it has been.

or you can also donate books to the downtown community ministry bookfair. I’m trying to set up to have a collection bin at TheNewDowse during Craft2.0
